Celebrity Millennium Completes $140 Million Solstice Upgrade
More on Tours, Ports and Packages »
Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Millennium is the fourth and final Millennium-class ship to complete a $140 million renovation that adds features introduced on the newer Solstice class. The initiative was completed in less than two years, with each ship completing the transformation during a three-week dry-dock period.
The Millennium-class ships now have AquaClass staterooms, which have private verandas, access to the specialty restaurant Blu, complimentary access to the Persian Garden and Relaxation Room in the AquaSpa, a spa concierge to book treatments, use of Frette bathrobes and slippers and enhanced personal care products. AquaClass staterooms also get daily deliveries of complimentary bottled water and teas. AquaClass staterooms will be added to Celebrity Constellation in 2013.
Celebrity Millennium also got the quirky restaurant Qsine, the iLounge selling Apple products, the eXhale bedding program, Michael’s Club whiskey bar, and more.
Celebrity Millennium is currently on a Panama Canal voyage from Fort Lauderdale to San Diego. Following a five-night wine-themed cruise from San Diego to Vancouver on May 27, the ship will offer seven-night Alaska sailings between Vancouver and Seward, Alaska.
